Happy Women’s Day!

The Problem
From 2007 to 2012, only 30.8% of the speaking characters in the top 500 movies were women.

The Solution
Portraying Disney princesses as self-sufficient and complex can lead to other similar representations of women in media.”

Here, in Karosta Kids, we did it. Each one of us created a new princess with unique traits and goals (that don’t include finding a Prince Charming) to urge Disney to feature more strong female characters in its movies. That’s how we celebrate Women’s Day 🙂 You can see the results below.
